Projects

Here, you can discover a selection of projects I’ve been involved in. The initial four projects stem from my tenure at Volkswagen. In the car industry, a product cycle usually lasts around four years, sometimes longer. While the majority of my work remains confidential at the moment, I can offer a brief preview. Once it becomes publicly available, you’ll find updates right here. The last three projects, including Cubit, were developed during my academic studies, with Cubit serving as my Bachelor thesis project.

Climate

In this project, the primary objective was to enhance and modernize the operation of the vehicle’s climate control system while introducing new features that encompass both software and hardware components.

WeCharge Incar App

The We Charge In-Car App enables users to conveniently locate and navigate to charging points with various filtering options, real-time availability information, and additional features like points of interest, while also facilitating user feedback and integration with the navigation system.

Driver Experince Switch

The 2024 Tiguan’s Driving Experience Switch refines its predecessor by offering multiple terrain-based driving profiles, easily selectable via a rotary knob. The updated version also integrates volume control and ambient lighting adjustments („Atmospheres“) while maintaining intuitive usability.

EV Route Planner

The Audi app’s EV Route Planner, slated for a 2025 update with benefits for the entire VW Group, utilizes a versatile design system, resolving challenges and paving the way for unified usage across brands, while the pending release promises innovative features based on extensive iterations and user tests.

Soundcloud

SoundCloud, a music platform known for user-generated audio content, particularly DJ sets, underwent a redesign focused on improving playback experience, content structure, and easy navigation. This was achieved through thorough analysis and diverse methods to enhance user experience.

Cubit

Cubit is a user-friendly physical computing tool designed for student prototyping, featuring simplified hardware for easy element linking without soldering, accompanied by intuitive software for code building through visual or textual coding, allowing users to learn about and use physical elements individually or collaboratively.

Ochef

Ochef, inspired by platforms like Tasty, introduces an interactive touch projection tool providing step-by-step cooking videos on a large, dirt-resistant screen, with personalized recipe suggestions and the ability to guide users through multiple dishes simultaneously, aiming to revolutionize cooking and promote fresh and healthy nutrition in daily life.
